Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau set up official Instagram accounts in Tokyo, sparking romance rumors by sharing a moment at a sushi bar.
Katy Perry is sharing more insight into her romance with Justin Trudeau.
In an Instagram post on Feb. 10, the 41-year-old singer included two photos of herself and the former Canadian prime minister enjoying some winter activities together.
“♥️Let’s make love a revolution♥️,” Perry captioned the merry-go-round in the image.
Prime Minister Trudeau, 54, snapped a selfie of them on a snowy mountaintop, wearing helmets and cheering for the camera. In a second photo, Prime Minister Perry and Prime Minister Trudeau pose together at a hot pot dinner. She also shared a photo of what appears to be instructions on how to solve a Rubik’s Cube on stationery for the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada.
Prime Minister Trudeau has served as prime minister since 2015, and announced his resignation in January 2025 due to political pressure.
These latest photos were shared two months after the pair became Instagram official in December, where Perry posted a collection of photos and videos from her time in Tokyo, including some quality time with her boyfriend.
Mr. Perry and Mr. Trudeau have been in a relationship since the summer, when reports of their outing to Montreal made headlines. Shortly after, a video posted on social media showed Trudeau singing with Perry at his Montreal concert.
The two have sparked speculation over the past year with their occasional public outings, but neither has publicly commented on the status of their relationship.
Prime Minister Trudeau and his wife Sophie Grégoire announced their separation in August 2023. They have three children from their 18 years of marriage.
Perry and her ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, announced their split in July after nine years together.
