Girl Scout cookie season is officially here!

Girl Scouts of the United States began cookie season on January 6, and local troops across the country followed suit. To celebrate the new year, Girl Scouts has introduced a new cookie to its popular lineup. Exploremores are sandwich cookies inspired by rocky road ice cream. The cookies are made with chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored cream and reflect “the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout,” according to a news release.

While the organization said hello to the new cookies, two others were let go. S’mores (a graham sandwich cookie with chocolate and marshmallow filling) and Toast Yay! (a French toast-flavored toast-shaped cookie dipped in icing) will be discontinued at the end of the 2025 season.

With Girl Scout cookie season in full swing, here’s what you need to know about finding a box (or two) near you.
