Music’s biggest night has arrived, with the 2026 Grammy Awards ceremony scheduled to take place tonight, February 1st, in Los Angeles.
This year marks the 68th annual Grammy Awards, which celebrates the best in music, and is hosted by the Recording Academy, which is “preparing for another historic night of dynamic performances, new categories, and can’t-miss moments,” according to a news release.
“We don’t hold our breath. We’re constantly holding our breath to try to focus on creating one of the most complex shows and celebrating music,” Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. previously told USA TODAY.

Kendrick Lamar is a strong contender for the second year in a row, with his duet with tour partner SZA, “Luther,” nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, and his fifth consecutive studio album, “GNX,” winning Album of the Year.
Lady Gaga is close behind with seven nominations, followed by producers Cirkat and Jack Antonoff. The six members include songwriter-turned-artist Leon Thomas, producer and engineer Selvan Genia, pop princess Sabrina Carpenter, and Super Bowl headliner Bad Bunny. Producer and songwriter Andrew Watt, hip-hop veterans Clipse, Pusha T & Malice, last year’s Best Rap Album winner Doechii, producer and songwriter Soundwave, hip-hop pioneer SZA, hard rock band Turnstyle and hip-hop singer and producer Tyler, The Creator each earned five nominations.
Nominees for the prestigious Album of the Year award include Bad Bunny for “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS,” Justin Bieber for “SWAG,” Sabrina Carpenter for “Man’s Best Friend,” and “Let God Sort Em” The list includes Clipse, Pusha T & Malice of “Out”, Lady Gaga of “MAYHEM”, Kendrick Lamar of “GNX”, Leon Thomas of “MUTT”, and Tyler, The Creator of “MUTT”. “Chromacopia”
The diverse lineup of top candidates represents the Recording Academy’s efforts to diversify its approximately 15,000 voting members.

A red carpet will be held prior to the show, which is scheduled to begin at 6pm ET/3pm PT, according to a news release.

How can I watch the 2026 Grammy Awards?
The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network and streamed live and on-demand on Paramount+ from 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM PT / 8:00 PM – 11:30 PM ET.
Paramount+ subscribers with the SHOWTIME add-on can also stream the 2025 Grammy Awards live while it airs on CBS. Paramount+ Essential subscribers can also stream it the day after it airs.
The Recording Academy will also provide exclusive Grammy Awards content, including interviews and red carpet arrivals. These will be livestreamed by the Recording Academy. live.grammy.com.
Prior to the main awards ceremony, an early pre-recorded Grammy Awards ceremony will be streamed on live.grammy.com and YouTube at 3:30 PM ET/12:30 PM PT. This year’s ceremony saw 94 different awards presented.

2026 Grammy Awards Red Carpet
Fans can watch “GRAMMY Live from the Red Carpet” on live.GRAMMY.com starting at 6 p.m. ET, according to a news release.
Eh! We also host our own programs. The network’s “Countdown to the Grammys” begins at 4 p.m. ET. Then “Live from E! Grammys” begins from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET.
Who will host the 2026 Grammy Awards?
Trevor Noah will return to anchor the 2026 Grammy Awards, marking the sixth consecutive year the former late-night host will host the show.
Recording Academy president Mason Jr. told USA TODAY that Noah was “the perfect host,” praising him for the show’s growth and as “a big part of what made our show what it is.”
“He’s funny, smart, polite, full of positive energy, and a huge music fan,” Mason Jr. said. “He loves music and it shows. He doesn’t attack at the expense of the community. There’s nothing offensive about it. There’s enough of that.”

- Reba McIntyre, Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson will honor some of the music icons who have recently passed away, paying tribute to “those recently lost to the creative community.”
- Ms. Lauryn Hill praises D’Angelo and Roberta Flack.
- Post Malone, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan and Slash perform a special tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.
