Brooklyn Peltz Beckham vents his family’s frustrations on Instagram
Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has broken his silence on rumors of family feud with a scathing post on Instagram.
The highly publicized family drama series wasn’t Stop RHomeo Beckham struts down the runway at Paris Fashion Week.
On Friday, January 23, Victoria and David Beckham’s 23-year-old son was spotted on stage at the Willy Chavarria show in Paris. He wore a black leather jacket over a white dress shirt and tie, oversized jeans, snakeskin-print shoes and shades.
The model’s public appearance comes after her older brother Brooklyn, 26, slammed her parents on social media in a fiery statement explaining why they were estranged. On January 19, he took to Instagram to accuse his parents of “consistently” disrespecting his wife, “Bates Motel” actress Nicola Peltz Beckham.
USA TODAY reached out to Victoria and David Beckham’s representatives for comment, but did not receive a response.
“The life I was born into was full of false relationships,” he said in a statement of more than 800 words. “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by images, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy, and happiness for ourselves and our future families.”
He clarified that he has no intention of “reconciling with his family” as he has been dominated by them for most of his life, adding, “For the first time in my life, I am standing up (for myself).”
Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham married in 2022 and renewed their vows in August 2025. Victoria and David attended the wedding, but were absent from the vow renewal.
David Beckham says children are ‘allowed to make mistakes’
Following Brooklyn’s public rebuke of his family, David Beckham appeared on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Jan. 20 and said social media can be a breeding ground for children to make “mistakes.”
The 50-year-old former soccer star has previously addressed the fact that social media has power, both good and bad, saying, “The bad things we’ve been talking about about what kids have access to these days can be dangerous.”
“That’s how kids learn. That’s what I try to teach them. Sometimes you have to let them make those mistakes,” he added.
David Beckham continued, “What I personally found, especially when it comes to children, is that you should use it for the right reasons. I was able to use my platform and my followers for UNICEF, and it became the biggest tool to let people know what’s going on for children around the world.”
