Waffle House has been creating Valentine’s Day vibes since 2008, and 2026 is no different.

The Norcross, Ga.-based breakfast chain said 218 of its restaurants are accepting reservations starting Feb. 14. Famously, this is the only day in a 365-day calendar year that Waffle House customers can call ahead to reserve a table or booth at the 24-hour restaurant.

In addition to festive tablecloths and other decorations, Waffle House also offers guests a special menu that may vary by location.

According to Southern Living, a guide to Southern culture, the tradition began at a Waffle House in Johns Creek, Georgia. With so many customers spending Valentine’s Day at a particular location each year, the manager at the time decided to decorate it to make the experience “special.”

Here are some notes on Valentine’s Day at Waffle House, including how to make reservations.

How to make a reservation for Waffle House on Valentine’s Day

Tables and booths can be reserved online or by calling a participating Waffle House.
