「ドクターペッパー、バァアアアアビー、おいしいし、いいですよ!ドゥードゥードゥー。」
This is what TikToker @romeosshow sang when he impulsively shared a clip of the Dr Pepper jingle a few days before Christmas. Dr. Pepper took the jingle a step further over the weekend, allowing millions to hear it in an official commercial that aired during the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship.
The 15-second commercial features @romeosshow’s vocals over a fun melody and the sizzle of a freshly opened can of Dr. Pepper being poured into an ice-cold glass.
The final seconds of the commercial include voices harmonizing as they deliver the final “doo doo doo.”
‘Dr Pepper Baby’: From TikTok to commercial fame
The TikToker shared the first jingle idea on Dec. 23, tagging Dr. Pepper and adding, “Posted this on an impulse.”
The same day, Dr. Pepper replied, “Wait a minute…I might be onto something,” and then sent a DM.
The video has since racked up more than 35 million views on TikTok. As the jingle went viral, other brands, including Subway, Popeyes, Wingstop, Welch’s Fruit Snacks, and Buffalo Wild Wings, accepted comments and asked users to create their own jingles. TikTok users have since created another jingle, this time for Hyundai.
When the commercial began airing on TV during College Championship, TikTokers tagged @romeosshow to congratulate the content creator.
On January 19, they shared another video in which they appear to have won the “Best National Championship Commercial” award for their jingle, thanking their online supporters, family, and friends. Congratulatory comments were received from Dr. Pepper and other companies.
Toyota USA commented, “We are pulling over to offer our congratulations.” TGI Fridays also commented on how proud the company is of its content creators.
Another user, @adventureswithstepho, shared that he wasn’t a fan of Dr. Pepper before, but the Romeo jingle might have changed that.
“Hearing this jingle makes me want to try it again,” the user wrote. “Because it’s probably good and great.”

The TikToker shared another video on Christmas Day, adding a holiday-inspired element to the jingle.
“Merry Christmas, Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa baby,” they said. “Hopefully. Du du du duu.”
Houston rapper and DJ Paul Wall commented on the post that day, adding that he liked it. “Reminds me of that Dr Pepper commercial I saw,” she wrote with a laughing emoji. “Merry Christmas.”
After this video went viral, people encouraged him to make more jingles. The TikToker chose to show off other skills by rapping instead.
