Supergreens has been recalled in several states, including Washington state.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, dietary supplements are being recalled after 45 people in 21 states became infected with salmonella.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration officials are warning consumers that tuna recently shipped to several states was recalled about a year ago.
On Monday, Jan. 20, a third-party distributor “inadvertently” shipped canned tuna that had been quarantined after Tri-Union Seafoods initiated a recall in February 2025, according to an FDA press release.
The tuna will be shipped to six different grocery store chains in nine states, including Meijer in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. Giant Foods in Maryland and Virginia; So are the California locations of Safeway, Albertsons, Vons and Pavilions.
Officials said consumers “should not use the product even if it does not look or smell rotten” and should seek immediate medical attention if they feel unwell.
What products are being recalled?
According to health authorities, the following products were mistakenly shipped to stores across the country.
- Genoba Bluefin Tuna Braised in Olive Oil 5.0oz 4 Pack – UPC: 4800073265
- Genoba Bluefin Tuna in Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Sea Salt 5.0 oz – UPC: 4800013275
Memories after a long time
The tuna was first recalled in February 2025 after Triunion Seafoods learned that some of the product’s “easy-open” pull-tab lids were defective, potentially allowing the cans to leak or become “contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, a potentially fatal food-borne illness.”
The first recall affected tuna shipped to stores in 27 states, including Costco, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Kroger and other national grocery chains.
What is Clostridium botulinum?
Clostridium botulinum is a rod-shaped, spore-forming bacterium that can produce botulinum toxin under hypoxic conditions, according to the USDA.
This bacteria grows on improperly sterilized canned meat and other preserved foods. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ingestion can cause food poisoning (botulism), which can lead to difficulty breathing, muscle paralysis, and even death.
