SEATTLE – The NFL will honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during all four divisional round playoff games.

Ahead of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, the NFL will honor King by displaying “CHOOSE LOVE” in end zones and helmet decals, an NFL spokesperson confirmed to USA TODAY Sports.

The NFL will also recognize King and the message he expressed at Super Bowl 60.

“CHOOSE LOVE” and “IT TAKES ALL OF US” will appear in opposite end zones of Levi’s Stadium at next month’s Super Bowl.

“Dr. King’s message continues to guide how we show up in meaningful moments across the league,” NFL SVP of Social Responsibility Anna Isaacson said in a statement. “‘Choose Love’ has become an important and widely accepted message for our team because it reflects the values championed by Dr. King: dignity, empathy, and a commitment to our common humanity. Bringing it to the forefront in the Divisional Round and again in Super Bowl LX reflects its continued relevance.”

End zone stencils for conference championship games will be determined by the host team following standard club-driven procedures.
