At least the SEC nation can celebrate one title this offseason. Nielsen ratings have been released for the 2025 college football season, with Birmingham, Alabama ranked No. 1.
Six other SEC markets finished in the top 10, but Ohio State’s passionate fan base helped the Buckeyes come in at No. 2 (Columbus) and No. 3 (Dayton).
Here are the top 10 markets of the year that didn’t have too many surprises. But despite a historic season for Indiana and a strong Notre Dame presence in the market, Indianapolis is conspicuously absent. I think it just means further south.
