Crumble is currently developing new sweet treats.
A week after rumors began circulating on social media about the bakery chain potentially developing a line of donuts, Crumble Cookies is looking to set the record straight.
“Crumble is excited to test donuts as part of our ongoing product innovation process,” the Lyndon, Utah-based company told USA TODAY in a statement.
It all started on Wednesday, January 7th, when popular food news aggregator Snacklater announced news about Crumble’s latest venture: “Come on, this is wild. Crumble is currently developing a lineup of 12 flavors of donuts that we’re always looking forward to trying!”
Snackrator’s post also included mockups of 12 flavors, including Cookie Butter, Strawberries & Cream, Cookies & Cream, Raspberry Cheesecake, Caramel Shortbread, S’mores, Cinnamon Crunch, Jelly, Maple Glazed, Chocolate Glazed, Strawberry Glazed, and Glazed.
USA TODAY reached out to Crumbl to confirm the validity of the Snackolator flavor mockup, but did not immediately receive a response.

Crumble has ‘no immediate plans’ to release donuts
Customers will have to wait a considerable amount of time before trying the donuts as internal testing begins. “Testing is still in its early stages and there are no plans to begin immediately,” Crumble said.
Crumble added: “Possible rollout is well into the future and will depend on extensive testing, customer feedback and operational considerations.” “We continue to focus on thoughtful innovation while ensuring new products meet the experience and quality standards our customers expect from Crumbl.”
In the meantime, customers can purchase dessert flights from Crumble’s weekly menu.
