Circle K wants to help you with your post-holiday shopping budget and help you take a break from your next gas station visit.

Circle K, which has more than 5,000 convenience stores in 29 states, will offer 40 cents off a gallon on Thursday, January 15th to members of its Inner Circle Loyalty Program. Trading is possible from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time on the same day.

To qualify for the Inner Circle Fuel Day sale, customers must enter the phone number associated with their Inner Circle account at the gas station or in-store prior to checkout. (Up to 35 gallons available at participating Circle K Fuel locations. One-time use.)

“Every penny counts, especially as our customers recover from their holiday spending and are looking for ways to save smartly and start the year,” Louise Warner, Circle K’s executive vice president of North America, said in a news release. “Fuel Day is a meaningful way to give back and reward Inner Circle members by helping them save on essentials.”

Circle K has been offering regular 40-cent discount Fuel Day promotions in commemoration of the return to school in August 2025 and in advance of holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Here’s what you need to know about Inner Circle Fuel Day.

How to join Circle K’s Inner Circle and get 40 cents off every gallon of gas.

To qualify for the 40 cent discount on gas prices on January 15th, you must join the Inner Circle Loyalty Program. You can create an account by visiting the Circle K website or downloading the Circle K app. You can also text JOIN to 25050 using your mobile phone.

To find participating locations and see if the Inner Circle program is available, visit circlek.com/inner-circle-fuel-day or check the app. Members receive 25 cents off a gallon on their first five fuelings (after the January 15 transaction) and 3 cents off a gallon the next day. When you spend $500 on gas, food and drinks at Circle K, you’ll be upgraded to premium membership and get 5 cents off per gallon.
