President Trump says Greenland is essential to Golden Dome and national security
The foreign ministers of Denmark and Greenland meet with Vice President Vance at the White House.
COPENHAGEN – Denmark and Greenland announced Wednesday that they have begun working closely with allies to strengthen their military presence in and around Greenland as part of a commitment to strengthen Arctic defense.
The announcement comes as the foreign ministers of Denmark and Greenland are scheduled to meet with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, following weeks of threats by President Donald Trump to seize the autonomous Danish island of Greenland.
