The Kansas City Chiefs said in a statement on Jan. 7 that they are aware of allegations of domestic violence by Laci Rice circulating on social media.

This follows an allegation that Rice’s ex-girlfriend publicly posted on Instagram on January 7th.

Rice was not mentioned by name in the post or in the Chiefs’ statement.

“The club is aware of the allegations on social media and has been in contact with the National Football League,” the Chiefs said in a statement. “We have no further comment at this time.”

Rice was suspended for the first six games of the 2025 NFL regular season for his involvement in a high-speed car crash in March 2024.

Rice has not been charged in connection with the woman’s accusations.
