When will Rare Beauty products be available in Ulta stores?

Get your wallets ready because Rare Beauty, Selena Gomez’s fan-favorite makeup brand, is coming soon to beauty retailer Ulta Beauty.

On January 5th, the two beauty brands announced in a joint Instagram post, “Something happened 💫.”

When will Rare Beauty be available at Ulta Beauty?

According to an Instagram post, Rare Beauty products will be available at Ulta Beauty starting February 1st.

“We can’t wait to meet more of you, welcome new friends, and share what we’ve built together,” said Rare Beauty.

It’s not yet known which products from the Rare Beauty lineup will be available at Ulta. The beauty retailer did not immediately respond to USA TODAY’s request for more information about the collaboration.

Gomez, 33, launched her cosmetics company Rare Beauty in 2020. In June 2025, the cosmetics company was valued at $1.3 billion, and in September 2024, Bloomberg declared Gomez a billionaire, USA TODAY previously reported.

What is Selena Gomez’s rare beauty brand?

The original Rare Beauty line was inspired by Gomez’s time in the makeup chair for various career projects including TV shows, music videos, and movies.

As previously reported by USA TODAY, Gomez said at the time: “I’m so excited to be releasing beauty products that not only feel good, but also celebrate the rarity in each of us.” “These products aren’t about being someone else; they’re about being yourself, whether you wear a full face of bold makeup or very little makeup.”

The brand says on its website that it is “defying unrealistic standards of perfection.” ​

One percent of all sales of this product and all funds raised from partners will be donated to the Rare Impact Fund. The fund has a goal of raising $100 million to address disparities in mental health services in “underserved communities.” Gomez has been an advocate for mental health awareness for years.

How to purchase Rare Beauty makeup products

Rare Beauty products are currently available on the brand’s website and at Sephora. Initially launched with a lineup of makeup products such as concealer, blush, and mascara, the brand has recently expanded into skin and body care with products such as body lotion, lip butter, and perfume.
