There’s nothing like a freshly baked pizza and the warm aroma that comes with it. ranchAnd Bath & Body Works aims to encapsulate both beloved and divisive scents.
Bath & Body Works has launched the Pizza & Lunch candle as part of its Perfect Pairings collection for Candle Day 2025, and shoppers are already sharing their glowing opinions of the fragrance, which smells of “melty cheese, crunchy pepperoni, and ranch.” Most people are not impressed.
“I left a Little Caesars pepperoni pizza in my diaper genie for about two and a half weeks, and then I took that diaper genie pizza out and it smelled like, ‘Hey, I need something.'” So it sucked up the infected airways. I took out the tracheal lunch and poured it on top of that pizza, then I took out the tracheal lunch and the diaper genie pizza and wiped my dick with it,” nurse and comedian Jen Hamilton said in a TikTok video. “That’s the worst smell I’ve ever smelled in my life.”

“I literally almost threw up in the store. I hope this helps!” one TikTok user commented on the video. “This should have been an April Fool’s release,” said another.
The Perfect Pairing candle collection features “fun and unexpected gourmet scents,” according to a Bath & Body Works news release. In addition to Pizza & Ranch, other scents include Coffee & Donuts, Chips & Salsa, and Popcorn & Slushies. As of January 5th, you can only order the Chips & Salsa candle on the Bath & Body Works website. The product description says this three-wick candle smells like “bottomless tortilla chips and fresh salsa.”
Will Bath & Body Works’ Pizza & Ranch candles be restocked?
No, Bath & Body Works has no plans to restock the Perfecting Pairing Candle, as the candle was launched as a limited edition product for Candle Day 2025, according to a statement from Bath & Body Works obtained by USA TODAY.
How about a pickle scented candle?
Although not part of the Perfect Pairing collection, another Food-Focused Candle from Bath & Body Works that’s gaining attention is Holiday Dill Light, a three-wick dill pickle scented candle. The candle’s product description says, “A dill-flavored blend of pickle juice, fresh dill, and flaky sea salt.”
Some content creators have said they don’t like pickle-scented candles, but that feedback doesn’t compare to that of Pizza & Ranch.
This candle received an overall rating of 4.1 stars from 96 reviews posted on the Bath & Body Works website. This candle is sold out on the Bath & Body Works website as of January 5th.
“People are overacting this in their videos,” content creator Lindsey Rowley said in a recent TikTok video. “This isn’t that bad. It smells less like a pickle jar and more like a fresh dill sprig.”
