NFL Week 17 picks include Jaguars, Steelers, Niners
Lorenzo Reyes presents his three picks for NFL games leading up to Christmas week.
As the NFL playoff picture continues to solidify, so too does the group of teams that won’t play into it. In fact, by the end of Week 17, the postseason qualifiers could be completely determined, even if seeding still has to be determined, as well as the group of 18 who will compete. If the Pittsburgh Steelers defeat Cleveland on Sunday, all seven AFC teams will be guaranteed a spot in Super Bowl 60. The same thing could happen on the NFC side if the Carolina Panthers can succumb to the NFC South without defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers again in Week 18.
Heading into Sunday, let’s take a look at which clubs are already playing this string, with two clubs already in Week 17, and which clubs are likely to play it soon.
