Julianne Hough is open to love, but with some important specifications.
The “Dancing with the Stars” host told E! News that in a recent interview, she puts more emphasis on a person’s aura and vibe than anything else.
“It’s all energy-based,” she told the outlet. “I don’t really have a type. It’s more about connection and that’s it.” Hough is preparing to host “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” on our sister station with ex-partner Ryan Seacrest. The two dated for three years starting in 2010 before marrying hockey player Brooks Reich. The latter couple was married from 2017 to 2022.
Hough, 37, continued, “I’m always looking for love, both romantically and with friends.” “everytime.”
But for now, Huff is eager to kick off 2026 in Las Vegas with New Year’s Countdown Live on ABC from Sin City. She co-hosts with football player Rob Gronkowski, she told E! She wanted to appear on “Dancing with the Stars.”
“I told him, ‘I think we should do a fun dance TikTok.'” I’m trying to get him on (DWTS). It would be really fun,” she told the outlet. “If you’re ready to drink tequila and crack a bottle in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve, I think you can teach him to dance an entire season.”

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Rita Ora, will air live from Times Square on Wednesday, December 31st at 8pm ET on ABC. The show will be available to watch on Hulu the next day.
Chance the Rapper will lead the first-ever live Central Time Zone Countdown from Chicago, while Gronkowski and Hough will co-host in Las Vegas.
