Christmas isn’t “training season” for Dua Lipa. It’s cooking season.
The singer-songwriter shared a series of holiday photos on Instagram, including a candid shot of her cuddling with her fiancé, actor Callum Turner, who is also British. “Happy Holidays everyone!! Sending you so much love!!!!!,” Ripa wrote in the caption.
On her Instagram carousel, Turner can be seen playfully making the singer a smoothie and playing with friends and dogs during a holiday party filled with games, scratch-off lottery tickets and pickled vegetables. “It’s all about love,” Ripa wrote, adding that the “cooking was a complete failure.” The musician was seen posing with a turkey that was first uncooked and then edible. (Since she went on tour and hadn’t been in the kitchen for six months, “all the stars aligned with me.”)
Ripa and Turner, who stars in the recent romance film Eternity with Miles Teller and Elizabeth Olsen, began dating last year and confirmed their engagement in June. Ripa shared a photo of the couple celebrating her 30th birthday in an Instagram post in August.
In an interview with The Sunday Times in October, Turner, 35, revealed that at a mutual friend’s pre-birthday party in Los Angeles, the two sat next to each other and realized they were reading the same book, Hernan Díaz’s novel Trust.
“I had just finished the first chapter. I told her that, and she looked at me and said, ‘I just finished the first chapter, too,'” Turner recalled. “I said, ‘So, we’re on the same page.’
Ripa gushes about her new fiancé in an interview with Vogue in June, revealing that Turner consulted her friends and sister to create her engagement ring. “I’m obsessed with it. It’s just who I am. It’s nice to know that the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you so well.”
