White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt’s family has welcomed a new addition to the new year. She announced that she had given birth to a baby girl.

Leavitt shared the news in a social media post on Dec. 26, calling it “the best Christmas present we could ever ask for.”

“My husband and I are excited to expand our family and can’t wait to see our son become a big brother,” Levitt said.

Levitt said the baby is due in May.

Levitt, 28, one of President Donald Trump’s most high-profile surrogates, is the youngest White House press secretary ever.

Levitt served as press secretary for Trump’s 2024 campaign before joining Trump’s White House team and giving birth to her son during the campaign. Before that, she worked for Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, ran an unsuccessful congressional campaign in New Hampshire, and interned at the White House during Trump’s first administration.

Mr. Levitt thanked President Trump and his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, for “fostering a family-friendly environment at the White House.”
