Celebrities in new Epstein files released by Justice Department
The Justice Department has released new files related to Jeffrey Epstein, including Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and Richard Branson.
“Rush Hour” director Brett Ratner, who is directing First Lady Melania Trump’s next documentary, is pictured in the latest Jeffrey Epstein files released by the Justice Department..
The undated photo shows the Florida filmmaker posing with a shirtless Jean-Luc Brunel. Brunel was a French modeling agent and longtime colleague of Epstein.
Brunel committed suicide in prison in France in 2022 after being charged with raping a minor and providing the child to disgraced financiers.
Ratner and Brunel’s photos did not include dates, locations or backgrounds.
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Ratner and his production company, RatPac Entertainment, for comment.
Newly released photos of the Epstein files feature many prominent names, including former President Bill Clinton and actors Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker. Music icon Mick JaGar, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross.

Mr. Ratner directed the first lady’s new documentary, “Melania,” which depicts the 20 days leading up to the former model’s return to the White House following President Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
Fox News released a trailer for the project on December 17th ahead of its January 30th release.
This documentary presents Paramount as it is. “Rush Hour 4” is being developed with Ratner set to RAccording to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, he will co-star with stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.
In 2017, amid the #MeToo movement, six women, including actresses Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge, accused Ratner of sexual misconduct. No criminal charges were filed against him.
The fourth Rush Hour movie was postponed, and Ratner kept a low profile for years.
Warner Bros. and Ratner parted ways in November 2017. “Melania” will be Ratner’s directorial debut. 2014 action movies “Hercules.”
