Avatar: Fire and Ash Trailer: Director James Cameron Returns to Pandora

Australia’s dine-in cinemas are welcoming ‘Avatar’ fans back to Pandora with a colorful new menu – Blue Ioli Burger.
Dubbed ‘Smoked Pandoran’, FoMo Cinemas in Melbourne, Australia is offering a limited edition sandwich to coincide with the release of ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’. The sandwich will consist of a charcoal-grilled brioche bun, 24-hour smoked beef brisket, blue aioli, crispy onions, pickles and lettuce, and will be served with blue salt-crusted fries, according to the theater.
In a Dec. 14 Instagram post about the burger and two other limited menu items, the theater said the food was “inspired by the world beyond the stars.”
When “Avatar: Fire and Ashes” opens in U.S. theaters on Dec. 19 and Australian cinemas on Dec. 18, fans online are confused over the burger, with some in disgust and others intrigued at the prospect of devouring the “Avatar food.”
According to a Dec. 19 Instagram post from FoMo Cinemas, Blue Burger isn’t the only food and drink Avatar fans can expect to see on the menu. The other two menus offered are:
- Ashlands: An alcoholic beverage made with tequila, lime, pomegranate, chile, Tabasco, and chili salt rim.
- Navi Sheikh – A bright blue milkshake with a smooth and light vanilla flavor.
Commenters on FoMo Cinemas’ Instagram post seem to have mixed opinions about the blue burger. Although the theater received some praise for its creation, most commenters made fun of the blue burger with memes, GIFs, jokes, or insults.
Although comments were mixed, FoMo Cinemas’ Instagram post encouraged fans to try the limited menu and “experience Avatar the FOMO way.”
