President Donald Trump appeared to confirm that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino would be leaving, telling reporters that former conservative media personality Dan Bongino might be interested in returning to the show.

MS NOW reported that Bongino has told everyone he will quit his job early next year and is cleaning up his office.

President Trump said of Bongino on December 17: “Dan has done a great job. I think he would love to come back to the show.”

Bongino is a former New York City police officer and host of “The Dan Bongino Show.” He has been part of a sweeping overhaul of federal law enforcement by allies appointed by President Trump, who has been a deep critic of the Justice Department.

This is a developing story. Please check back for more information.
