Ben & Jerry’s new treats will be in freezers in 2026, but you can try them for free this week.
Ben & Jerry’s will release ice cream bars in January 2026. However, some brick-and-mortar stores are offering customers the opportunity to sample the product as early as Wednesday, December 17th. The launch features five flavors of ice cream dipped in a chocolate coating with cookie pieces embedded inside.
The ice cream bar will be given away at more than 150 Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops.

How to try Ben & Jerry’s new ice cream bar for free
More than 150 participating scoop shops nationwide will be giving away free ice cream bars on December 17th. More than 20,000 ice cream bars will be given away on Wednesday. Fans can find participating stores and more information on the “Scoop Shops & Catering Near Me” page on benjerry.com.
Once there, enter your location and click the green button. When the drop-down list appears, select and search for the “Free Bar Drop Shop” filter.
What flavor is Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar?
Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bars come in five flavors.
- cookie dough
- chocolate fudge brownie
- strawberry cheesecake
- PB pretzel
- caramel blondie
Cookie Dough, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and Strawberry Cheesecake flavors are familiar, but PB Pretzel and Caramel Blondie flavors are new.
The bars will be sold in four 2.5-ounce bar multipacks, priced between $5.99 and $7.49, with single $3.99 Cookie Dough ice cream bars expected to be available in convenience stores in spring 2026.
