Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are Instagram official.
The 41-year-old pop star posted a collection of photos and videos from her final Lifetimes tour concert in Tokyo on Dec. 6, and the post also included snaps from her trip with Prime Minister Trudeau, 53.
Perry shared a selfie of himself and his rumored girlfriend against the backdrop of vibrant Japanese fall foliage, and also shared a video of Perry tasting sea urchin (sea urchin genitalia, popular for its creamy texture) for the first time at a sushi bar.
The two have sparked speculation in recent months with occasional public outings, but neither has publicly commented on the status of their relationship.
Prime Minister Trudeau, who has served as prime minister since 2015 and announced his resignation in January under political pressure, and his wife Sophie Grégoire announced their separation in August 2023. The couple have three children during their 18 years of marriage.
Perry and her ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, announced their split in July after nine years together.
In November, Perry released a new song titled “Bandaids,” which seemed to reference the end of her nearly 10-year relationship with Bloom, in which she sings about “slowly bleeding” over a partner who “lowered my expectations” but then “let me down.”
Prime Minister Perry and Prime Minister Trudeau have been romantically involved since the summer, when reports of his visit to Montreal made headlines. Shortly after, a video posted on social media showed Trudeau singing with Perry at his Montreal concert.
