Ever since Burger King unveiled the SpongeBob Movie Menu to celebrate the Dec. 19 release of The SpongeBob Movie: Find Squarepants, fans of the show have made it their mission to sample Bikini Bottom’s newest delicacies.
Some people are sharing reactions and reviews for the product online, with the colorful packaging and surprising flavor combinations evoking nostalgia among consumers.
“I tried the SpongeBob Meal at Burger King – it was awesome!” Consumer shared on December 4th on X.
Burger King’s SpongeBob-themed products will be available for a “limited time only, while supplies last,” and will feature pieces “inspired by all your favorite SpongeBob movie characters,” according to a Monday, Dec. 1, news release.
“This latest partnership with The SpongeBob Movie may be our most exciting menu yet, with four delicious menu innovations, unique toys and exclusive packaging including two special edition BK Crowns,” Joel Yasinski, Burger King’s chief marketing officer, said in a news release.

How long does Spongebob’s meal last?
The SpongeBob-themed menu, including the Bikini Bottom Bundle, will be available at participating restaurants nationwide “while supplies last.”
Burger King did not immediately respond to USA TODAY’s request for comment.

From Patrick’s Starberry Shortcake Pie to SpongeBob’s Krabby Whopper, a variety of foods inspired by the colorful world and characters of SpongeBob SquarePants are waiting for Burger King customers, at least for a limited time.
SpongeBob themed products include:
- spongebob’s krabby whopper – A 1/4 pound beef patty is flame-grilled on a yellow square bun and topped with melted American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and generous amounts of ketchup and mayonnaise.
- Mr. Krabs Cheese Bacon Tots – Crispy coin-shaped tots filled with melty cheese, flavorful bacon bits, and fluffy potatoes in a treasure chest carton.
- Patrick’s Starberry Shortcake Pie – Strawberry Shortcake Pie Slice with creamy layers of strawberry and vanilla flavor, crunchy cookie crumb crust, shortcake cookie crumble, and pink star sprinkles.
- pirate frozen pineapple float – A cool and refreshing frozen pineapple flavored drink topped with tropical flavored cold foam.
- bikini bottom bundle – Can’t choose just one? Enjoy all four items in our pineapple-shaped Under the Sea box. Comes with a medium float and 8 pieces of cheese bacon tots.
- king junior meal – Burger King is offering a special edition King Jr. Meal in a pineapple-shaped Under the Sea box featuring one of six collectible SpongeBob toys and a limited edition SpongeBob crown.
