IHOP is reinstating its Kids Eat Free deal, which provides approximately three weeks of free kids’ menu items for children under 12.

Restaurant chain Pancake House said the deal is valid from 2pm to 10pm local time until December 21st, and is valid for customers who purchase a full-priced adult entrée. The company also said children will be offered new activity sheets featuring the Pancake cartoon characters Pam and Perry, word searches, jokes and other activities.

IHOP has proposed this deal in the past, including when it launched its Kids Livewell program in 2011 and in the midst of the 2024 back-to-school season.

IHOP’s December deal comes months after the restaurant launched a daily value menu starting at $6. Value menu options include combos, scrambles, and omelettes. One combo, the Breakfast Faves Combo, includes two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, and two bacon strips or pork sausage links.

“At IHOP, we believe that great food should be available to everyone every day,” IHOP President Lawrence Kim said in a news release about value menu items.

“We know that our customers are more value-oriented than ever before, so the launch of IHOP’s Value Menu is a direct response to what our customers want: great food, variety, abundance and uncompromising affordability, available 24/7,” Kim added.
