Check out Chick-fil-A’s first vending machine (no counter, same chicken)
Georgia hospitals keep Chick-fil-A market refrigerators for short-term testing, but like stores, they are closed on Sundays.
Chick-fil-A is testing two new chicken and waffle sandwiches in two markets starting Dec. 1.
A company spokesperson confirmed to USA TODAY on Nov. 11 that some restaurants in Baltimore will be testing the Chicken & Waffles Breakfast Sandwich and a Chicken & Waffles Breakfast Sandwich, and some restaurants in San Antonio will be testing the Chicken & Waffles Breakfast Sandwich.
The testing period will run from Dec. 1 to Jan. 24, while supplies last, the company told USA TODAY.
A Nov. 5 Facebook post from the Westminster, Maryland, restaurant described the “Chicken & Waffle Sandwich” as “crispy chicken sandwiched between warm maple waffles and a dollop of smoked bacon.”
The post and shared image states that both original chicken and spicy chicken are available. The breakfast version looks a little small in the image, but it’s served until 10:30am.
Chicken and waffle sandwich to be announced after holiday menu returns
The test announcement comes on the heels of the chicken sandwich seller’s return to its holiday menu.
Chick-fil-A added several peppermint-flavored products starting November 10, including Peppermint Chip Milkshake, Peppermint Chip Frosted Coffee, Peppermint Iced Coffee, and Iced Dream with Peppermint Bark Chips. Chicken tortilla soup and 30 pieces of nuggets were also added.
In addition to the seasonal menu, Chick-fil-A also launched holiday products on November 10th. These products include themed wrapping paper, sauce gift boxes, apparel, and more.
