The holiday season is in full swing and December is just around the corner. What better way to count down to Christmas than with an advent calendar, especially a beauty calendar?
The exact person behind the concept is unknown, but Sky History says the tradition of marking the days until Christmas likely began in Germany in the 19th century.
In recent years, advent calendars have become even more popular because they offer surprises. Traditional advent calendars usually feature chocolate, wine, cookies, or ornaments, but lately beauty brands have also been jumping on the bandwagon to treat their customers.
