Some grocery stores, restaurants, and national retailers such as Walmart and Target will be closed on Nov. 27 for the holiday, but some stores such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, Kroger and Whole Foods will remain open, albeit with modified hours.
Banks, post offices, delivery services and the stock market will also be closed on Thanksgiving.

The U.S. Postal Service will not be delivering mail on Thursday, Nov. 27, and retail services will be unavailable, the agency told USA TODAY. Postal delivery and retail services will resume normal operations from Friday.
