Are you ready to eat?

The NFL’s Thanksgiving/Week 13 menu is packed with content, with all 32 teams in action, with the only exception being games played almost every day Monday through Saturday, starting with Turkey Day.

Thursday will certainly be must-see TV. It begins with an NFC North showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions, with the latter currently sitting outside the conference’s scheduled playoff field. Thursday afternoon will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys, perhaps the two most high-profile teams in America, both of whom are in 10th place in their respective conferences and essentially in win-now mode. What about dessert? Rightly or wrongly, QB Joe Burrow is expected to return when the Cincinnati Bengals visit the Baltimore Ravens, who have jumped to the top of the AFC North with a five-game winning streak.

In the annual Black Friday contest, the reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles will host the Chicago Bears, and the 8-3 teams will face off against each other, with the winner taking sole possession of second place overall in the NFC.

It certainly feels like Sunday’s schedule is leftovers. However, Cleveland Browns rookie QB Shedule Sanders will make his first NFL home start (against the San Francisco 49ers). The Houston Texans will be belatedly trying to claw their way back to the top of the AFC South when they take on the Indianapolis Colts. And the Buffalo Bills are scheduled to play the Steelers in Pittsburgh, in what will likely be a sparring match between the two teams for a wild-card spot. Sunday ends with a meeting between the Denver Broncos and Washington Commanders on the outskirts of the nation’s capital.

Monday should rekindle some notable Super Bowl memories as the New York Giants, who have little to offer fans other than the legend of Lombardi, take on the AFC-leading New England Patriots, the league’s only 10-win team entering Week 13.
