Kate Beckinsale is the perfect mother when it comes to caring for her loved ones.
The 52-year-old British Critics Circle Award-nominated actress recalled the shocking health discovery she made from her daughter’s boyfriend during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Monday, November 24th. Beckinsale shares daughter Lily Mo Sheen, 26, with ex-partner Michael Sheen.
Beckinsale told host Jimmy Kimmel: “We’ve had a tough time the last few years. Both of my parents passed away in the last few years, and literally the only silver lining has come from him.” “The bright spot was that he laid two eggs in one week.”
A skeptical Kimmel then asked Beckinsale to clarify what she meant by laying an egg, and the “Wildcat” star then explained that the entire egg, including the “shell and yolk,” passed through the man’s body.
Ms Beckinsale continued: “After he went to the bathroom he was very surprised to find out that she had laid an egg,” adding that her daughter’s unnamed boyfriend was “really scared”. “I got really involved in this because everything was so bad that I really needed a distraction.”
A representative for Beckinsale declined to comment on Beckinsale’s interview.
Beckinsale was skeptical at first, but said Lily sent her a photo after her boyfriend gave birth to her second egg, which she reportedly showed to Kimmel and her partner Guillermo Rodriguez during the interview.
“What the hell?” Kimmel said. “Your daughter’s boyfriend is the Easter Bunny!”
Beckinsale added that she had consulted several doctors about the man’s symptoms and speculated that the incident may have been caused by “some type of complex masturbation.”
“I mean, this is my favorite thing he’s ever done, and I really like him,” Beckinsale said. “But now that some time has passed, I’m ready for the next one.”
