After Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul announced he would retire at the end of this season, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James congratulated the NBA star on social media.

LeBron posted a photo of Chris Paul on his Instagram Story and captioned it, “Points God!!! What a ride.” Throughout his 21 seasons in the league, Paul has never played on the same NBA team as James. However, they were teammates on the U.S. Olympic team and won gold medals together as Team USA at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics.

The two NBA legends will face off in group play for the NBA Cup on November 25th, when the Clippers travel to Crypto.com Arena to take on the Lakers.
