Champion is working with cosmetics brand Revlon to develop fragrances for men and women, according to a news release from Authentic Brands Group, which owns Champion.
“This partnership with Revlon is a natural extension of Champion’s evolution,” Jarrod Weber, Authentic Brands Group president of sports and lifestyle, said in a news release. “Fragrance is the next frontier as we expand our reach in fashion and lifestyle, and as Authentic’s long-time trusted and proven partner, Revlon is uniquely positioned to help create sensory experiences that resonate with audiences around the world.”
Champions are not outliers. Several other sportswear brands have their own fragrance lines. In fact, Adidas launched its first perfume, Adidas Active Bodies, in 1990.
