According to the National Day Calendar, Friday, November 14th is an annual day of celebration for pickle lovers around the world.
This comes as more people than ever seem to be embracing pickles. Pickle-forward menu items such as pickle fries, pickle pizza and pizza lemonade have doubled year-over-year at top quick-service restaurants since 2024, according to data from commerce platform Qu.
Some restaurants and other businesses are celebrating this anniversary by offering special discounts on pickle-inspired products. Here’s a summary.
National Pickle Day Sale

On Nov. 14, the restaurant chain will let guests order free fried pickles with any purchase of $10 or more. Use promo code FREEPICKLES. This offer is not available for third-party distribution.
jimmy johns
The sandwich shop, home of the popular Pickle Witch, is celebrating the day with several promotions.
- Enter to win a $500 Jimmy John’s gift card. The chain says the card is worth a year’s worth of free pickles. Customer must be participating in the JJ Rewards program. There are two input methods.
- Order a Pickle Witch on the Jimmy John’s app and use code PICKLEFREAK at checkout to enter. You must be logged into your JJ Rewards account.
- Email jjpickledaysweets@dja.com with the subject line “Jimmy John’s Pickle Day Sweepstakes.” In the main text, enter your name, address, city, state, zip code, date of birth, and the email address associated with your JJ Rewards account.

Pickle brand Grilo’s is hosting National Pickle Day parties in New York City, Boston and Tampa. Each will feature pickle snacks and other festivities throughout the day. The locations and times are as follows:
- new york: Bar Snack, 92 2nd Ave., closes at 6:30 p.m.
- boston: Small Victories, 400 Dorchester St., closes at 6 p.m.
- tampa: Skate Park Tampa, doors open at 12pm, event starts at 4:30pm.
Jason’s Deli
Jason’s Deli will be giving away 100 gallons of pickle chips in 4-gallon ice buckets to 25 people. To enter, follow Jason’s Deli on Instagram and like and comment on the Pickle Day post.
