Veterans Day hits hard for those affected by closures
The government shutdown appears to be easing, but it’s still having an impact on some veterans.
Veterans Day is here, and like other restaurants and businesses, Wendy’s is offering meal benefits to veterans in honor of their military service.
Wendy’s says that on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, veterans and active military members will receive a free breakfast combo at any Wendy’s location.
This plan offers a great deal on a breakfast combo that includes a breakfast sandwich, seasoned fries, and a drink. During breakfast hours, there is a limit of one small, medium, or large combo meal per veteran.
What time does Wendy’s breakfast serve?
Wendy’s said on its website that breakfast hours vary by location, but the earliest location to start serving breakfast is 6:30 a.m. and the latest location is 10:30 a.m.
Veterans can find a Wendy’s near them at www.Wendys.com.
How do I get free meals?
Veterans who wish to take advantage of this deal must notify a crew member or present their VetRewards card. The VetRewards card is issued by WeSalute, a benefits program that offers veterans discounts.
Orders can only be placed in-store and through the drive-thru. The restaurant said it will not honor contracts made through mobile apps, delivery or restaurant kiosks.
