Starbucks is honoring veterans by offering free coffee on Veterans Day.

Available at participating locations through Tuesday, Nov. 11, the gesture includes a complimentary 12-ounce cup of freshly brewed coffee (hot or iced) for veterans, military personnel, and military spouses.

In addition to the giveaway, the coffee house chain is also making a $200,000 charitable donation to military-adjacent causes, including the Wounded Warrior Project and United Service Organizations.

“We are committed to supporting the military community,” Starbucks said in a statement. “Since 2013, we’ve worked with more than 40,000 veterans and military spouses at our cafes.”

How to get free Starbucks on Veterans Day

Starbucks says eligible customers can only redeem one cup of coffee at a participating cafe or drive-thru. Excludes cold brew, nitro, and other customizations.

It was not immediately clear whether Starbucks would require eligible customers to present a veteran ID or DD214 card, or if they would need to make a qualifying purchase to receive the giveaway, but USA TODAY has requested more information.

Be sure to contact your local location to confirm participation. To find participating coffeehouses, use the Starbucks Store Locator.
