National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day is back and crispier than ever, with various fast food chains offering deals and discounts for their customers on Sunday, November 9th.
Fried chicken sandwiches are so popular that billions are consumed each year in the United States. Approximately 3.5 billion chicken sandwiches are consumed annually in the United States. According to the National Convenience Association Stores reported in 2021, citing industry analysis firm NPD Group, now known as Circana.

mcdonalds
On November 9th only, McDonald’s is offering customers a $2 McCrispie sandwich for National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day.
This deal is only available through the McDonald’s app.
burger king
Burger offers an original chicken sandwich with purchases of $3 or more.
To get this “ultimate deal” on November 9, you’ll need to be a Royal Perks member, the fast food chain said.
Popeye
In a deal that begins Oct. 27 and runs through Nov. 9, Popeyes will offer customers “a free Classic, Spicy or Smokin’ Rojo Chicken Sandwich with a minimum purchase of $10,” the fast food chain announced in a news release.
“Popeyes sets the standard when it comes to fried chicken sandwiches, so it’s the perfect excuse to treat yourself,” the fast food chain said.
Jollibee
To celebrate National Fried Chicken Day, Jollibee will be offering BOGO Chicken Sandwich Sale from November 6th to 9th.
Both the Original Sandwich and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich are buy-one-get-one-free, but only for new Jollibee Rewards members. This deal requires new members to add two sandwiches to their order for the offer to be automatically applied.
“Jollibee Chicken Sandwich has been a fan favorite since its launch,” Jollibee said in a news release. “Fun and delicious, our original chicken sandwich, juicy and crispy, features specially cured, double-hand breaded chicken breast fillets brushed with flavorful umami mayonnaise and served on a toasted brioche bun. Kentucky Fried Chicken, commonly known as KFC, will be offering free chicken sandwiches to rewards members on November 9th.
From November 7th to 9th, members can receive a free chicken sandwich (classic or spicy) with any purchase of $1 or more on the KFC app and KFC.com.
“Sunday, National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day, felt like the perfect moment for KFC to make a big splash,” Melissa Cash, KFC’s U.S. chief marketing officer, said in a news release.
KFC will open Sundays By KFC, a one-day pop-up restaurant in New York City on November 9th for fans of the Big Apple’s fried chicken sandwiches, according to a release.
“KFC’s 14th Street Restaurant will be transformed into an elevated sit-down dining experience that transforms Sunday Funday into Sunday Done the Right Way, where flavors and sizes collide to create the perfect atmosphere,” the fast food chain said.

From Nov. 6 to Nov. 9, Wingstop will offer free chicken sandwiches with purchases of $10 or more, according to Savannah Morning News, part of the USA TODAY Network.

shake shack
Shake Shack isn’t offering any special deals for National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day, but the fast-food chain is offering free Chicken Shack every Sunday, including November 9th.
The deal began on November 2nd and runs until December 28th, with customers receiving a free Chicken Shack every Sunday with purchases of $10 or more. To get a free sandwich, customers must use the code CHICKENSUNDAY on the Shake Shack app or in-store.
No, Chick-fil-A will not close the deal on November 9th
Chick-fil-A stores will be closed on Sundays, including November 9th. The fast-food chain has traditionally celebrated National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day with BOGO sales and other promotions, but this year it won’t be participating.
