Social media is reacting to Taco Bell’s new limited-edition and colorful Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie.

Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie, dubbed “the most unusual dessert of the season” by Taco Bell, has officially landed at participating locations, but it doesn’t last long.
The fast-food chain said the possibility of a dessert inspired by Taco Bell’s signature drinks was first teased in February 2024 at the brand’s annual Live Mass Live event, and then again six months later during Taco Bell’s 20th annual Bajaversary.
According to Taco Bell, the limited-edition pie “transforms Baja Blast’s legendary tropical lime flavor into a creamy Key Lime-style dessert topped with a graham crumb crust and whipped cream.” All pies are sold whole and retail for $19.99.

“Unexpected in every way, the iconic Tropical Baja Blast flavor is reimagined in a creamy Key Lime-style pie that’s more than just your everyday dessert,” Taco Bell said in a news release. “That’s a statement in a sea of stuffing.”
The launch of the Baja Blast Pie, which Taco Bell has dubbed the “legendary fan favorite,” is aimed at “killing Friendsgiving,” according to the fast food chain. This release comes a few months after the brand announced a new Baja Blast flavor, Mountain Dew Baja Midnight.
While fans will have to act fast to get their hands on Baja Blast Pie, the brand is also offering an additional Baja Blast Pie Chiller, a frosty twist on Baja Blast Pie, available only at Live Mass Cafes in Southern California and Texas.
