USA TODAY reporter Julia Gomez used to consume about two to three sodas a day, but after quitting Coca-Cola, she noticed a big change.
Coca-Cola is “unboxing” a new holiday flavor for the first time in five years.
The company is launching a new limited edition Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla flavor. The flavor is said to be “a festive twist on classic flavors, delivering comfort, refreshment and seasonal joy just in time for the holidays.”
Coca-Cola said in a news release that the new flavor is “a delicious taste of Coca-Cola infused with smooth, creamy vanilla flavor that captures the joy of the season.”
The new flavor will be available in both full and zero sugar versions. Coca-Cola’s Holiday Creamy Vanilla has 150 total sugars and 42 grams of carbohydrates per 12 ounces, while the Zero Sugar version has 0 calories and 0 grams of carbohydrates per 12 ounces, the company said.
While Coca-Cola’s new Holiday Creamy Vanilla maintains classic Coke packaging, the new flavor will be offered in bottles and cans that “authentically emulate the smooth flavor” with colors inspired by creamy vanilla, the company said.
How to get Coke’s new holiday flavors
Coke’s newest flavor will be available in 12-ounce packs and 20-ounce bottles beginning November 3 at retail stores in the U.S. and Canada and online at coca-cola.com.
According to the company, a special 2-liter bottle of the full sugar version will also be sold exclusively at Walmart.
