Drake fans should do the “Tootsie Slide” at Dave’s Hot Chicken and get a free chicken slider sandwich.

The “For All The Dogs” rapper will be handing out free sandwiches at the popular restaurant the day before his birthday for the third year in a row.

“We want to continue this tradition of valuing our fans while celebrating our most famous investor, Drake,” Dave’s Hot Chicken CEO Bill Phelps said in a statement. “We hope everyone at home and abroad will come and get our sliders on October 23rd.”

How to get Dave’s Hot Chicken for free on Drake’s birthday

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time on Thursday, October 23rd, visit any Dave’s Hot Chicken location and get a free chicken slider or tender (no purchase required). Just download Dave’s app and sign up for scanning. (Not available for online orders or third-party delivery services.)

When did Drake invest in Dave’s Hot Chicken?

Drake (real name Aubrey Graham) will turn 39 on October 24th. Drake, the Canadian artist behind “October’s Very Own,” first invested in Dave’s Hot Chicken in 2021. Other big names who have backed the chain include Usher, Maria Shriver, Samuel L. Jackson, and Michael Strahan.

The chain started in 2017 as a late-night snack spot in an East Hollywood parking lot. Since Phelps joined as CEO in 2019 after leading Wetzel’s Pretzels for 25 years, the still-growing chain has expanded to 350 stores in the United States, with locations in the Middle East and Canada.
