Fall favorites are officially back!
McDonald’s Boo Bucket, a storied tradition since 1986, is now available at participating restaurants while supplies last.
Designed to replace the classic “Happy Meal” box, the decorative pail has been revived from time to time since its launch.
“Boo Buckets”, also known as “SZN’s spookiest buckets”, features three classic characters: Ghost, Pumpkin, and Goblin, as well as two new characters: Cat and Zombie.
“Halloween buckets appear everywhere like ghosts in the night, and imitation is the most BOO form of flattery,” McDonald’s said in a statement. “But let’s be real: There’s only one OG Halloween Bucket, and it comes with a Happy Meal.”

What’s inside McDonald’s “Boo Bucket”?
In addition to monster-themed decorative buckets, “Boo Buckets” come with all the traditional Happy Meal fixings and stickers to look “awesome.”
The main appeal of “Boo Buckets” is that they also double as trick-or-treat containers.
McDonald’s Halloween-themed buckets feature a variety of monster characters, both old and new, and come in five different colors, including white, orange, green, black, and red.
In addition to Ghosts, Pumpkins and Goblins, new Cats and Zombies round out this year’s lineup. Each monster character has three different expressions, and you can collect each version.
