As expected, a tumultuous weekend in college football led to major changes in the U.S. LBM Coaches Poll. But there was one element of stability that unanimously ranked #1.

Ohio State received all 65 first-place votes cast this week after a shutout win over Wisconsin. Indiana moved into second place, surpassing its previous highest ranking achieved last week. Texas A&M, the last undefeated team in the SEC, moved up to No. 3, the Aggies’ highest ranking since 1995. Alabama and Georgia round out the top five.

Oregon State moved up three spots to sixth place. Georgia Tech, which maintained its unblemished record with the win at Duke, moved up five spots to No. 7, the Yellow Jackets’ highest ranking since 2007. Mississippi State and Miami (Fla.) fell out of the top five, but remained in eighth and ninth place, respectively. Brigham Young, the last team in the Big 12 to remain unscathed, made it into the top 10.
