As was often said, the 1965 Chevrolet C-10 pickup was nothing to write home about. Nothing fancy, just affordable and practical. They were common on roads across America.
Jacob Seibert of Spencer, Indiana, bought it when he was 15 years old. After getting his driver’s license, he drove a blue truck called Lucille to school every day.
And he still drives his precious pickup truck. Right into his future. Here is a photo of the truck that took me on a wedding shower cruise to celebrate my upcoming marriage to Courtney Langley.
It is called the groom’s car dowry.
