Taylor Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The “Showgirl’s Life” pop superstar appeared in her third game of the season on the Chiefs’ turf against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Oct. 12, after missing Week 5’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Week 3’s game against the Giants at MetLife Stadium and the season opener in Brazil against the Chargers. She competed for a game in Florida and appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon to promote her 12th studio album.
NBC Sports posted a video of the star hugging Ed Kelsey in his suite with the caption, “Taylor Swift, Caitlyn Clarke and the Kelsey family are in full force Sunday night 🏈.”
The singer wore a black Chiefs dress with red lettering. Her hair was in a ponytail.
During a rematch with the Eagles in the Super Bowl on September 14, the Swifties believed they caught a glimpse of the 35-year-old arriving in Kansas City. Bodyguards, mother Andrea Swift and brother Austin Swift, were captured on cellphones walking on the other side of a portable black wall instead of the usual tunnel entrance.
The added layer of secrecy may reflect increased privacy concerns.
On September 23, a Los Angeles judge granted Swift a five-year restraining order against Brian Jason Wagner, 45, who is accused of repeatedly showing up at Swift’s mansion and claiming to be the mother of his son. According to court documents, Wagner also sent messages of “concern and threats” to Swift and her staff, which she described as deeply disturbing behavior.
Swift said in her petition that the encounter left her “in fear of imminent harm” to herself and her family. The order prohibits Mr. Wagner from any form of contact with her, requires him to surrender any firearms, and requires him to stay at least 100 meters from her home, workplace and car. Mr. Wagner did not appear at the hearing.
On September 28, Swift reportedly attended a game with her father, Scott Swift, and brother, Austin.
