Publix opens 6 new stores by end of September
Lakeland, Florida-based supermarket chain Publix will open six new stores in five U.S. states as part of its expansion plans.

The Florida-based grocer has launched limited edition ice cream flavors this holiday season. Ice cream is available in half gallon and pint sizes.
“We’re excited to bring limited edition ice cream to our customers this holiday season,” said Talisha Gray, Publix Research and Product Development Manager. “Our recently introduced pint line gives us even more reason to try all our flavors.”
Publix’s 2025 Holiday Ice Cream Flavors
These flavors are available in half gallons.
- Publix Coffee Chai Latte Premium Ice Cream: White coffee flavored ice cream with cinnamon molasses cookie pieces and white chocolate flavored chai swirl.
- Publix Deep Dish Apple Pie Premium Ice Cream: Apple-flavored ice cream wrapped in brown sugar and cinnamon sauce, real apple pieces, and sugar-rolled puff pastry.
- Publix Eggnog Premium Ice Cream: A rich eggnog-flavored ice cream with a hint of nutmeg.
- Publix Marshmallow, Candy Cane and Cookie Blast Premium Ice Cream: Marshmallow-flavored ice cream with candy cane pieces and chocolate cookie swirls.
- Publix Peppermint Stick Premium Ice Cream: Delicious vanilla ice cream with festive peppermint candies.
- Publix Pumpkin Pie Premium Ice Cream: Pumpkin pie-flavored ice cream wrapped in whipped cream and butter-flavored puff pastry.
- Publix Lamb Nut Bread Pudding Premium Ice Cream: Vanilla rum raisin flavored ice cream with cinnamon cream swirl, praline pecan nuts, and blondie brownie.
- Publix Santa’s White Christmas Premium Ice Cream: The classic flavors of Barney’s Santa’s White Christmas Coffee are playfully mixed with Cocoa Espresso Flakes.
