Louis Vuitton, known for his monogram bags and luggage, has released a new makeup collection that stirs up the debate about prices.
With the new year just months away, retailers are racing to achieve their goal of opening more stores by the end of 2025.
Bluemercury sells skincare and beauty products, and also offers facials and brow styling. Macy’s acquired the company in 2015 with $210 million in cash, and has since added Bluemercury locations within several Macy’s stores, according to the company’s website.
By the end of 2025, the New York-based company will open nine new locations this year. Bluemercury store managers Omnichannel and Strategy spoke to USA Today on October 2nd.
“Bluemercury has opened new locations in major regions and cities, focusing on areas where luxury beauty and spa services are in high demand,” Goldberg says.
Where did Bluemercury open a new location?
According to Goldberg, new locations and relocations this year include:
- California – 4722 Admiralty Way, Marina Del Rey, California 90292
- Florida – 421 SW 145th Terrace, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33027
- Nevada – 2260 Village Walk Drive Suite 104-A, Henderson, Nevada 2260
- Oregon – 7443 SW Bridgeport Rd. Space E-109, Tigard, Oregon 97224
- Texas – 1400 Shawl Creek, #170, Highland Village, Texas 75077
- Washington – 233 Bellevue Square, Bellevue, Washington 98004
Bluemercury’s future store opening plan
Goldberg refused to say where the future location would be, but three more openings will be planned for 2025, with details coming out at a later date.
Bluemercury declined to share certain plans for 2026, but said the company will continue to focus on expansion.
According to Goldberg, the company “brings new locations to the coveted US neighborhoods where clients live, work and shop.”

Husband and wife duo Barry and Marla Beck founded Blu-Mulcurry in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC in 1999. The couple said that “blue” represents trust and loyalty, while the god of information, “Mercury” represents the company’s desire to provide honest advice to its customers.
In September 2019, Beck began moving from his leadership role at Bluemercury, Macy’s announced. Two years later, Macy’s announced that Marie Bernstein will join Bluemercury as CEO. Bernstein previously served as CVS Health’s vice president of e-commerce.
