Details are still dripping with around three immigrant victims a few days after the September 24 shooting at the Dallas Immigrants and Customs Enforcement Field Office.

The names and nationalities of the three detainees who were shot and killed have now been released. The shooting, which investigators described as a target attack on ice personnel, killed one person and two died in critical condition.

The 29-year-old man allegedly shot a tied detainee in a field office van from a nearby rooftop, but was injured in the attack.

A senior office of the Homeland Security Agency, speaking about terms of anonymity, has identified the man as Mexico’s Miguel Angel Garcia Hernandez. Jose Andres Baudon Molina of Venezuela. Nolan Guzman Fuentes of El Salvador. Officials provided criminal history of the detainees but did not specify which man died or the scope of the other two surviving injuries.

Local supporters have condemned the lack of information about immigrant victims.

What happened during the filming?

On the morning of September 24th, Joshua Yarn was said to have taken a ladder to the Immigration Law Office and climbed onto the roof. Officials said they fired indiscriminately at the Ice Field Office using an 8mm bolt-action rifle and hit the building with a van carrying detainees at Surrey Port.

Surveillance footage released by Fox News showed a tied detainee struggling to escape the van as the shooting unfolded. It is unclear whether the three men were able to make it out of the van.

Marcos Charles, executive associate director of Ice’s Enforcement and Removal Operations, said ICE and the Bureau of Alcohol, cigarettes, firearms and explosives officers “running back to danger and to save detainees.”

Authorities later discovered that Yarn had died from obvious self-harm.

They say they have recovered their writings that show Yarn attempting to terrorize the Trump administration’s agents of immigration crackdown. Filming was the third targeted at immigration facilities in Texas.

Federal authorities are increasing security at ice facilities across the country. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on the X-Post September 26th that the Department of Justice will deploy agents to protect ice facilities.
