Even on weekends where most teams at the top are off or faced with no significant challenges, college football has once again produced amazing results that form a playoff picture.
And these results are in week 4, with the latest version of USA Today Sports Bowl Projections with a new look in the CFP field. There are two similar swaps between the Big Ten and the Big 12 team. One change that was not made was in a group of five representatives. Tulane lost at a disadvantage in Mississippi, and Memphis surprised Arkansas. However, Greenwave still has an edge on the Americans, already pocketing two Power 4 victories.
This weekend is the end of September and is also the first major inflection point of the season. It’s not much changed in the top candidates outside the Clemson and Alabama slip. For Pennsylvania and Oregon, you can see if the Crimson Tide can defeat Georgia and return to the photo.
Note: Legacy Pac-12 schools at other conferences will fulfill their existing Pac-12 bowl contracts until the 2025 season.
