LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police arrested Raja Jackson, the son of UFC fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson on September 18 in connection with a suspected attack on a professional wrestler, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department records.

Raja Jackson’s arrest comes from a virus incident in which the Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy suspended the match on August 23rd at the “Knox Experience” show.

He was arrested by LAPD on Thursday and faces felony charges, records say. Booking records show that the 25-year-old is set at $50,000.

He was seen in live streaming video where he repeatedly slams, punches and repeatedly punches Stuart Smith, who is wrestling under the name Syko Stu.

The two agreed to make a scripted interruption after Jackson’s heated interaction before the show. The Wrestling Academy said in a statement posted on August 24 that the wrestling spot had turned into “selfish and irresponsible acts of violence against Smith.”

Syko Stu Update

According to an August 31 Facebook post on his page, Smith was released from the hospital and was on a resting house.

Smith was told, “When you arrive at the ER you’re unconscious.” Other injuries included trauma to his jaw, tears to the upper lip, and fractures to the upper jaw bone (maxillary bone), resulting in several teeth being lost.

“He was suffocating his blood and teeth,” wrestler Douglas Malo, who was involved in the subsequent brawl to stop Jackson’s alleged attack, previously told USA Today. “Someone reminded me that there was a child there and then I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ ”

Smith’s GoFundMe page has raised more than $222,000 and is expected to be directed towards uncovered healthcare costs, recovery assistance and loss of income, according to a funding page created by his wife Contessa Patterson.

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson shares his thoughts

Jackson’s father, Quinton Jackson, a well-known MMA fighter in the 2000s, spoke about his son’s situation in September 3rd’s “The Ah Show.”

“I think (Raja) should take some time,” Quinton Jackson told Ariel Helwani in an interview. “We’ll do a little community service and go to an angry management class.”
