WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump said in a new interview that “extremists on the left are the problem,” following the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, 31, was fatally shot on September 10th while talking in front of many people as part of his “American Comeback Tour” at Utah Valley University. Trump announces Kirk’s death to the true society, calling him “great and legendary.”

Trump on September 12th of “Fox & Friends” said, “The extremists on the right are radical because they don’t want to see crime.”

“Aware of the border, they said, ‘We don’t want these people to come in. We don’t want you to burn shopping centres. We don’t want you to shoot people in the middle of the street,” Trump said. “The extremists on the left are problematic, they are vicious, they are scary and politically savvy.”

He said on September 10 that “radical left” rhetoric is “directly responsible for the terrorism we see in our country today.”

Meanwhile, Democrats denounced the assassination and political violence. “The assassination of Charlie Kirk risks the removal of political turmoil and violence in America, noting that there is no risk.”

House Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries said in a September 10th X post that “political violence is never acceptable.”
